I painted this Bubble’O’Bill from memory back in 2006 with gouache for my junk series of addictive things. I couldn’t find any photos anywhere online of the real bar so I shut my eyes and remembered my favorite icecream. It sold at my show @thestandard hotel in Hollywood and I haven’t seen it since.
